To change the name of this dock, edit this text.
The dock name appears when the dock is minimised, and optionally in the title bar of the window. Also, you can select docks by name from the Window menu.
Float dock window
To float the window of this dock above all other applications, check this box.
You can choose to have the window always float, or only float when you drag something into it, using the buttons below.
when dragging into dock
To float this dock window only when you drag something into it, click this button.
This will have the effect of making the dock window pop to the front when you drag something to it and it is partially obscured.

To always float this dock window above all other applications when DragThing is in the background, click this button.
Show window title bar
To show the window title bar of this dock, check this box.
Hiding the title bar is useful for people with small monitors who want to save every last pixel of screen space. You can move the dock when the title bar is hidden by holding down the Option key and clicking an empty part of the dock.

To display the title bar horizontally at the top of the dock window, click this button.
at left
To display the title bar vertically at the left of the dock window, click this button.
Icons
Size
To set the size of icons displayed in this dock, drag this slider.
If you set the icon size to none, the icons will not be displayed. If the names are not shown setting the icon size to none will show the names again.
Spacing
To set the size of the border around icons displayed in this dock, drag this slider.
Show item names
To show the dock item names, check this box.
If you uncheck this box while the icon size is set to none, the icon size will be increased to 16x16.

To show the names of the dock items above the icon, click this button.
at left
To show the names of the dock items to the left of the icon, click this button.
at bottom
To show the names of the dock items below the icon, click this button.
at right
To show the names of the dock items to the right of the icon, click this button.
Width
To set the width of the dock item name, drag this slider.
Show layer folder tabs
To show the tabs used for switching between layers, check this box.
Click on a tab to bring that layer to the front. If you drag something over a tab, the layer will switch allowing you to drag onto items in that layer.

To display the layer folder tabs horizontally at the top of the dock window, click this button.
at left
To display the layer folder tabs at vertically at the left of the dock window, click this button.
at bottom
To display the layer folder tabs horizontally at the bottom of the dock window, click this button.
at right
To display the layer folder tabs at vertically at the right of the dock window, click this button.
beginning of dock
To draw the layer folder tabs at the beginning of the dock, check this box.
middle of dock
To draw the layer folder tabs at the middle of the dock, check this box.
end of dock
To draw the layer folder tabs at the end of the dock, check this box.
Show name bar
To show the name of the item currently under the cursor in an area below this dock, check this box.
This "name bar" is useful if you have turned off names from the View menu to save space, but still want to tell items apart.

To display the current item name horizontally at the top of the dock window, click this button.
at left
To display the current item name vertically at the left of the dock window, click this button.
at bottom
To display the current item name horizontally at the bottom of the dock window, click this button.
at right
To display the current item name vertically at the right of the dock window, click this button.
Locking
To prevent further changes to this dock, click the lock button until it shows a closed padlock icon. To make changes, click it again until it shows an open padlock icon.
Navigation
To switch to the Dock Options windows for the other docks, click the arrow buttons to navigate between them.
